Regional Sales Leader

The Regional Sales Manager will inspire and collaborate with a diverse team to drive commercial success in their portfolio and state.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a real impact and join a global medical device company that accelerates digital technologies to advance patient care.

The Role:

In Queensland, the Regional Sales Manager will focus on the metro market and satellite areas where they have a team based. They will lead Clinical & Sales Representatives to achieve targets and agreed account metrics. The RSM will identify and develop business opportunities by challenging customer thinking and building solutions while managing the company's activities and resources.

They will work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to deliver and exceed agreed business plans. This includes promoting key account planning while developing team members' account management competencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate national marketing sales plans into regional plans and share these with Sales Representatives to align their plans with accounts.
  • Allocate resources according to account segmentation and targeting.
  • Grow unit growth, profitability, and market share for existing and potential customers.
  • Implement business strategies and coordinate internal business processes to deliver value to customers.
  • Analyse aggregate account data and information (sales, account plans etc) and develop regional insights valuable to Medical Devices, current and future business positions.
  • Manage regional budgets and provide feedback to management on outcomes of expenditure.
  • Complete routine administration tasks on time and accurately, e.g. monthly reports, expenses, mileage reports.
  • Report Adverse Events and product quality complaints in a timely way according to current guidelines/SOP.

Required Skills Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Health Sciences, Business, or Medical Engineering or related fields.
  • Leadership experience leading field sales teams is required.
  • Industry experience within orthopaedics medical devices is desirable.
  • Proven leadership attributes and achievements.
  • Strong collaboration skills to create genuine partnerships.
