About the RoleThe Sales Director will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expansion across the region. This position requires a strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and pursue new opportunities
- Plan and manage sales activities to prospect and attain new accounts and develop pipelines
- Identify market trends and translate insights into actionable plans
- Collaborate with product and procurement teams to align trade lane strategies
- Negotiate and close deals to secure new business contracts
- Achieve sales targets, set KPIs and negotiate customer contracts
- Stay ahead of the game by analyzing market trends, competitors, and customer needs to shape our competitive position
- 4 years of experience in a similar role within the industry
- Proven track record of success with business development
- Strong commercial knowledge and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
