
Expert Student Support Specialist

As a dedicated Online Learning Advisor, you will play a vital role in facilitating student success and delivering high-quality educational experiences. Our ideal candidate is passionate about online education and possesses strong communication skills to effectively support students throughout their learning journey.
This position involves working with pre-planned academic content, ensuring that students receive engaging and interactive learning experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering live workshops, creating teaching materials, and assessing student work. A key aspect of this role is providing empathetic support to students, understanding their challenges and promoting academic success.
To excel in this position, you must possess excellent organizational and planning skills, as well as the ability to adapt to new technologies. Your law degree or higher qualification will serve as a foundation for your expertise, while relevant industry experience and a passion for student success are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Student Success: Provide empathetic support to students, understanding their challenges and promoting academic success.
- Deliver Live Workshops: Deliver 3-hour live, synchronous online workshops per unit each week.
- Create Teaching Materials: Prepare brief teaching materials, such as slides or activity sheets, as needed.
- Assess Student Work: Mark, process, and submit assessment results within established guidelines and deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Law Degree: TEQSA AQF level 8 qualification or higher, meeting the academic requirements for admission to legal practice in Australia.
- Industry Experience: 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, preferably as a Lawyer, Solicitor, or Barrister.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent Communication Skills: High-level written communication skills and strong organization and planning skills.
- Comfort with Technology: Comfort with learning new technologies.
