About the Role

The Student Administration Officer is a key position in our team, responsible for providing exceptional support to students and faculty members. This role involves a range of administrative tasks, including processing student documentation, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process student admissions, enrolments, progression, and graduation matters efficiently and accurately.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of university policies, procedures, and rules related to student administration.
  • Liaise with other faculties, schools, and central administration regarding policy and procedure-related matters.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative procedures for degree programs offered through our faculty.
  • Represent our faculty at various events, including TSXPO, Open Day, and graduation ceremonies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training.
  • A sound understanding of key administrative processes relating to student and academic administration.
  • Knowledge of university computer systems, such as SI-net and Business Objects, or the ability to rapidly gain such knowledge.
  • High-level written and oral communication skills, with a strong orientation to customer service.
  • An empathy with and ability to communicate with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
