Nurse Educator Specialist

The Nurse Educator Specialist plays a pivotal role in the development of staff clinically, while fostering a preceptor/mentor relationship.

About the Role- To support and develop staff clinically, while fostering a preceptor/mentor relationship.
- To develop, coordinate, and evaluate unit-based educational programs; assess and demonstrate clinical procedures.
- To use a participatory approach to build capacity in delivering safe, evidence-based care and incorporate reflective practice for continuous improvement.
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) with relevant post-registration experience in the specialty.
- Relevant clinical or education post-registration qualifications, or equivalent education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in various teaching methodologies, with the ability to plan, conduct, and evaluate unit-based education.
- A full-time, Monday to Friday role offering a great work-life balance.
