We're looking for a part-time Avian & Exotics Veterinary Nurse to join our growing North Ryde team with the opportunity to work alongside the only two avian specialists in Sydney whilst collaborating with several specialists across the department

You'll be involved in anaesthetic monitoring of surgical patients, treatment of hospitalised cases, assisting consulting veterinarians, liaising with other departments, and client communication across a wide variety of species—from feathered to scaled

This a part time opportunity, 2 days a week offering starts between 7am - 9am on a 10 hour shift roster.

Who are we looking for?

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) with 2 years expeirence working as a full time nurse.
  • Interest in Avian & Exotics nursing, including anaesthesia and husbandry
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work 1:5 weekends and public holidays, as required
  • Prior experience in exotics nursing (preferred but not essential)
