Financial Analysis Role

The role of a Financial Analyst involves providing critical support to the finance department. This includes working closely with colleagues to identify areas for improvement in financial forecasting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate financial forecasts and analyze results to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate month-end accounting functions within defined timeframes.
  • Develop and distribute regular reporting packs for key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the collection, analysis, and presentation of market data to support business decisions.
  • Run analysis of key cost drivers to identify performance improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing environments highly regarded.
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills.
