Lead Finance Function in APAC Region

The role offers a chance to work with a global organisation, develop a high-performing regional team, and drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to both strategic and operational decision-making as a key member of the APAC Leadership Team.
  • Ensure alignment of processes and reporting with global finance leaders.
  • Build capability and support succession planning for the Finance team across APAC.
  • Oversee accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regional regulations.
  • Liaise with auditors, regulators, and tax authorities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Implement and maintain accounting systems, automation, and process improvements.
  • Deliver monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial statements for APAC entities.
  • Develop and monitor finance policies and reporting frameworks, ensuring timely and accurate information is delivered to stakeholders.
  • Provide variance analysis and insights to guide business performance and financial decision-making.
  • Drive risk management and compliance initiatives across the APAC region.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Proven experience leading finance functions in complex, multinational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements across APAC jurisdictions.
  • Expertise in treasury management, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
  • Experience engaging with external stakeholders such as auditors, regulators, and tax authorities.
  • A track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams across multiple locations.
  • Understanding of cross-border finance operations and global business practices.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Industry experience in travel, hospitality, or services will be highly regarded.
