Job Opportunity: Associate Nurse Unit Manager

Latrobe Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team on a part-time, ongoing basis.

This role will provide a fast-paced and dynamic managerial opportunity in a 32-bed acute surgical ward. You will have the chance to make a difference every day and be part of a team dedicated to providing high-quality patient-centered care.

We are looking for a candidate with AHPRA registration as a registered nurse and relevant managerial experience. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team and make recommendations for improvement
