As a key member of our Women's and Children's Services team, you will be responsible for the clinical and administrative management of the unit, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and excellent care.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of our Maternity Unit. As Midwife Unit Manager, you will:

  • Provide leadership and support to the Midwifery team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Midwife Unit Manager and other stakeholders to achieve unit goals and objectives.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the unit, including workload capacity and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Midwifery team, Hospital Coordinators, ANUMs, AMUMs, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as a Midwife.
  • RANZCOG - Fetal Surveillance Education Program (FSEP) certification.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
