About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient individual to join our team as a Traineeship Coordinator. This role provides high-level client support across various locations in the Bowen Basin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor progression of trainees in various systems and maintain accurate records;
  • Administrate the traineeship life cycle from enrolment, unit completions, funding applications and when funding is received;
  • Attend client or government meetings as and when required via video conferencing or in person;
  • Visit various client sites / business locations across the Bowen Basin (approx. 1-2 days per month) using a company vehicle;
  • Provide regular reporting to the team on traineeship progression;
  • Work with the Operations Scheduler to schedule trainee training as and when required;
  • Support the team to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations;
  • Review assessment practices and site processes to improve efficiency;
  • Maintain partnerships with government, educational and other organisations to support training programs and initiatives;
  • Keep up to date with government funded programs and initiatives; and
  • Ensure all administration processes and record-keeping obligations are met.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, incredibly efficient in managing trainees across various clients and has an eye for detail second to none. You will have strong communication, interpersonal skills and high attention to detail, outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritise various tasks, intermediate skills in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and strong networking skills and ability to build positive relationships (internal and external).
