We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to join our team as a Traineeship Administrator. This role will involve providing high-level client support across various locations in the Bowen Basin, while also being responsible for arranging training and development initiatives and projects.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Monitoring the progression of trainees in various systems and maintaining employee records and systems;
  • Administering the traineeship life cycle from enrolment to funding applications and receipt of funding;
  • Attending client or government meetings as required via video conferencing or in-person; and
  • Providing regular reporting to the team on traineeship progression.

The successful candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to build positive relationships with people at all levels. They will also have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritize various tasks effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail;
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks;
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;
  • A strong networking skillset and ability to build positive relationships (internal and external); and
  • Prior experience in a similar position (ideally managing government-funded traineeships) is advantageous.
