Job Title: Messaging Infrastructure Specialist.

Description:

  • We are seeking a Messaging Infrastructure Specialist to support the development and implementation of messaging infrastructure to complex ICT systems.
  • This role requires strong technical expertise in messaging infrastructure, including experience with Exchange and AD administration, Message Transfer Agents, Microsoft Skype administration, and XMPP chat tools.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present and engage with stakeholders, projects, and business areas.
  • Demonstrated experience working in Defence as a Messaging Technician is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the development and implementation of messaging infrastructure to complex ICT systems.
  2. Analyse, log, track, and resolve complex issues pertaining to messaging infrastructure.
  3. Create and peer review Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs), build guides, and related artefacts.
  4. Provide SME advice to stakeholders on messaging network architecture and process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in Defence as a Messaging Technician.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and maintaining messaging infrastructure across distributed environments.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating complex ICT infrastructure software and applications with messaging infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of: Exchange and AD administration; Message Transfer Agents; Microsoft Skype administration and XMPP chat tools.

Security Clearance: Applicants must be Australian citizens with a minimum NV2 security clearance. Compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be necessary.
