About Messaging Technician roles, our organisation plays a critical part in Defence and infrastructure projects. Our people drive success with expertise, innovation, and leadership on critical Defence programs.

We deliver consulting services and Integrated Work Packages across Defence, leveraging approaches like mission and digital engineering. This includes engagement with key areas including Defence Digital Group (DDG), Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), and the Navy, Army, and Air Force.

Our Fleet Information Environment Modernisation program aims to deliver a cyber-hardened, integrated, sustainable, and networked mission system that enables the Royal Australian Navy to 'fight and win at sea'.

The position undertakes Messaging Technician functions, performing activities such as:

  • Supporting development, build and implementation of Messaging infrastructure for complex ICT systems.
  • Completing and reviewing all associated Messaging network documentation.
  • Creating and maintaining Messaging network reference architectures to support solutions development.
  • Providing Messaging network SME advice to customers and stakeholders to facilitate project definition, system architecture and process improvement.
  • Identifying innovations and improvements to service that provide additional value to Messaging infrastructure.
  • Analysing, logging, tracking, and resolving complex issues pertaining to Messaging infrastructure.
