About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Subsea Controls Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and deliver complex subsea control systems projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise, leadership, and governance to a range of activities related to the Control System install base within the Services APAC Region.

This role requires a strong understanding of SCADA systems, PLC operations, instrumentation product design, and operation. Domain expertise in subsea control systems, including software development and communication protocols, is also essential.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and Executing Scopes: Define cost, time, and resource requirements for engineering planning and forecasting purposes.
  • Driving Engineering Activities: Ensure timely delivery of customer projects by driving engineering and team activities.
  • Increasing Ownership and Accountability: Generate more autonomy and regional capacity and capabilities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate during design reviews, input into project risk matrices, and drive mitigation activities.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical engineering support and leadership during business and non-business hours.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Degree in Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineering: Or Industrial Computer Systems Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience.
  • 10+ Years of Experience: In the subsea industry or related service organization.
  • Domain Expertise: In SCADA systems, PLC operations, instrumentation product design, and operation.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
