Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Subsea Controls Expert to provide technical leadership and expertise in the development of innovative control solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and executing scopes aligned with customer requirements and priorities.
  • Defining Cost, Time, and Resource (CTR) requirements for engineering planning and forecasting.
  • Driving engineering and team activities to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Increasing regional ownership and accountability over project execution, fostering autonomy and regional capacity.
  • Collaborating during design reviews, working with controlled titles at all project stages, contributing to risk assessments, and driving mitigation activities.
  • Assessing manpower needs for offshore installations, including skill gap analysis, providing planning support, reviewing procedures, and leading offshore teams during commissioning and start-up.
  • Ensuring deliverables meet customer specifications, regional technical regulations, and standards for Australia.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineering or related fields.
  • Over 10 years of engineering experience in the subsea industry or related services.
  • Expertise in SCADA systems, PLC operations, instrumentation design and operation.
  • Experience with subsea control systems, including software development and communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of operational requirements for DCS, MCS, PCDMs, SCMs, SEMs, HPUs, XTs, and umbilicals.
  • Experience with EPC project control system design, testing, commissioning, and offshore startup activities.
