About this Role

We seek a strategic analyst to drive mergers and acquisitions.

This role involves developing projections, reports, and presentations regarding considered mergers and acquisitions, performing financial forecasting and modelling, discussing M&A opportunities with senior management, preparing detailed evaluations of merger and acquisition targets, and coordinating key internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing strategic plans for mergers and acquisitions;
  • Performing financial analysis and forecasting;
  • Discussing business opportunities with senior management;
  • Preparing comprehensive evaluations of potential acquisition targets;
  • Coordinating with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives;
  • Assisting in market research and analysis;
  • Conducting post-merger reviews and analysis;
  • Supporting post-merger integration efforts;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar;
  • Strong analytical background;
  • Up to 3 years experience in a strategic analysis or business development role;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
  • Excellent administrative, time management, and organisational skills;
  • High level of energy and intrinsic motivation;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
