Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Equity Research Analyst to cover the Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, and Telecommunications sectors. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior analysts to develop industry contacts and communicate research findings effectively to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate views on sector trends in collaboration with senior analysts
  • Liaise with corporates and industry experts to gather information
  • Present research findings to external clients and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to thematic sector reports and collaborate with other teams
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of finance, accounting, and macroeconomics

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in equity research or a related field
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • A solid understanding of finance and accounting principles
  • A passion for equity markets and ability to navigate competitive pressures
