We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. This role will involve designing and implementing effective learning initiatives that drive capability growth for individuals and teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in identifying and implementing learning and development interventions to drive capability growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement e-learning programs, including administration tasks such as training management, e-learning suite enrolments, and completion reporting.
  • Manage the selection, design, and delivery of compliance learning modules, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with legal requirements.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive onboarding program for new hires.
  • Identify and source development opportunities leveraging technology to enhance individual and team capabilities.
  • Develop and promote leadership development opportunities, managing CMRI's leadership development programs to support employee growth and retention.
  • Support the performance management program and system, ensuring development plans are aligned with individual performance goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with managers to assess and identify professional development needs for their teams.
  • Design and deliver small group training sessions and workshops that engage and equip employees with the necessary skills for their roles.
  • Maintain and update a learning and development calendar, ensuring all initiatives and programs are scheduled and communicated in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in identifying and implementing learning and development interventions to drive capability growth.
  • Experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS), including administration tasks such as training management, e-learning suite enrolments, and completion reporting.
  • Proven experience in sourcing, managing, and delivering learning and development initiatives.
  • Facilitation skills, comfortable leading small group training sessions and workshops.
  • A keen interest in using technology to enhance productivity and continuous improvement in learning processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate deliverables within a part-time work schedule.
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
