Electrical Design Expertise for Energy Infrastructure

As a seasoned professional in substation design, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy delivery systems in Western Australia.

You will be part of a collaborative team working on exciting projects in the energy and resources sectors, including high-voltage primary systems and secondary protection and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and optimising designs for substations to meet client needs, collaborating with civil and mechanical engineers.
  • Providing technical leadership to team members and working in cross-functional teams to support diverse project requirements.
  • Conducting reviews and verifications of detail designs and technical reports for clients, including substation primary or secondary systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional project teams to support client needs and financial decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree qualification in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Experience in high-voltage projects in Western Australia and/or the Northern Territory as a consultant, developer, owner, or contractor in the energy and/or mining or resources sector.
  • Knowledge of transmission and distribution industry standards and codes in Australia and/or design experience with Australian electrical utilities.
  • Proficiency in offering solutions to technical challenges, demonstrated technical leadership, and strong communication skills.
