About this Role

This role is responsible for providing support and guidance to school leaders and other school staff in building cultural inclusion, cohesion and engagement with families and communities from culturally diverse backgrounds. This includes working with targeted schools to support multicultural education.

  • Deliver evidence-based programs that meet the specific needs of students who are learning English as an additional language or dialect, including newly arrived students and students from refugee backgrounds.
  • Foster communication and engagement with parents, carers and communities from culturally, linguistically and religiously diverse communities.
  • Develop and deliver training, support communication strategies, and co-design initiatives that enable equitable participation and create meaningful partnerships between schools and their communities.
What We're Looking For
  • A culturally responsive and relationship-driven professional with a deep understanding of multicultural education and community engagement.
  • Experience in delivering evidence-based programs, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and providing practical support and advice to school leaders.

Essential Requirements:

  • A current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willingness to acquire one).
