Job Title: Construction Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Fit-out Builder to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing industry-leading software such as ProCore, Cubit, and Estimate One.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with trades and suppliers on a project-by-project basis.
  • Ensure all management requirements are met, producing accurate documentation within agreed timelines.
  • Manage costs of materials and trades throughout the construction process.
  • Attend meetings with clients, project managers, and site staff, building strong relationships.
  • Identify potential risks and issues at tender time.
  • Initial tender compilation analysis.
  • Knowledge of building practices and project sequencing.
  • Reporting to the Director.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in building, construction management, or quantity surveying studies, or similar.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Practical industry or trade experience is essential.
  • Understanding of construction documentation plans, specifications, and finishes schedules.
  • Knowledge of the tender process and trade procurement.
  • Taking ownership and being open to feedback.
