Job Title: Defence Security CoordinatorAs a Defence Security Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding defence security classified information and sensitive commercial data.This exciting opportunity is designed for individuals with exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.You will be responsible for implementing security measures to protect defence security classified information and sensitive commercial information, managing an efficient, effective and timely security service, liaising with Defence Security Authorities, ensuring employees and contractors are security compliant, maintaining site and business security compliance, and responding to and maintaining records of security incidents.The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in Microsoft Office packages and have previous experience in a similar role.Responsibilities:
  • Implement security measures for the protection of defence security classified information and sensitive commercial information.
  • Manage an efficient, effective and timely security service to our customers, internal and external.
  • Liaise with Defence Security Authorities in all States and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure employees and contractors are security compliant with appropriate security clearances.
  • Maintain site and business security compliance.
  • Respond to and maintain records of security incidents, and escalate where needed.
