About Us
">We are a renowned dining and events experience in the heart of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. As we prepare to launch our exciting new events venue, The Homestead, we are seeking an experienced Events Supervisor to oversee the delivery of exceptional events across The Homestead and other key event spaces.
">About the Role
">As a seasoned events professional, you will be responsible for hosting events and serving as the operational point of contact for our event organizers and guests. Your primary focus will be on ensuring a high level of service standards, food quality, and delivering a vibrant and engaging guest experience.
">Your Key Responsibilities
">- Host events and serve as the operational point of contact for our event organizers and guests.
- Ensure a high level of service standards, food quality, and deliver a vibrant and engaging guest experience.
- Support the team in providing exceptional food and beverage service, set-up and pack down for events, and operational event planning to ensure seamless timings.
- Motivate the team to ensure we deliver professional, efficient, and memorable guest service.
- Collaborate with our Events and Food & Beverage Leadership Teams to ensure a high standard of food presentation, consistent delivery of exceptional events, and support the Venue Manager on building a great team culture.
About You
">- Passion for service excellence and providing superior hospitality and superior food and beverage knowledge.
- Experience supervising corporate and social events, including weddings.
- Demonstrated ability to implement operating policies and procedures and deliver practical and hands-on training.
- Manage service quality, ensuring high standards are consistently met, and coach team members.
- Ability to work rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts.
