Job Summary:
We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to ensure the organisation meets regulatory authority requirements and remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- The primary point of contact between our services across Australia, our corporate office, and their Regulatory Bodies.
- Analyse and respond to incoming complaints and incidents ensuring accurate and effective information gathering.
- Manage, assess, and co-ordinate the management of reportable incidents and complaints across our services ensuring that internal and external stakeholders are appropriately notified.
- Track and ensure any matters requiring external notifications are actioned and closed out by legislative deadlines.
- Provide support and advice on Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
- Prepare reports, submissions, and briefs in relation to incidents and complaints to senior leadership and other internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and update various databases and information storage systems around regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all communication is accurate, professional, and adapted to suit the relevant stakeholder audience.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in compliance and enforcement or regulatory environments desired but not mandatory.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to handle compliance issues with professionalism.
- Early education and care experience is desirable but not mandatory.
Additional Information:
This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
