Assistant Store Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate retail professional to lead our store team and drive sales growth.

As Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, leading and motivating the team to meet sales targets, and supporting hiring and training of new team members.

  • Oversee daily store operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and stock management.
  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support the hiring, training, and development of new team members.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain store presentation and ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in retail management or supervisory role (beauty industry experience is an advantage).
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Possession of knowledge in inventory management, stocktake processes, and merchandising.
  • Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, late-night trading, and public holidays as required.
