Speech Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our healthcare team in a dynamic and growing environment. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to patients, helping them improve their communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised degree in Speech Pathology and prior experience working as a Speech Pathologist is preferred but not essential. Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of speech, language, and swallowing disorders are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments of patients
  • Providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions to help patients improve their communication and swallowing functions
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
  • Maintaining detailed patient records and documentation
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and coordinate care

Requirements:

  • Recognised degree in Speech Pathology
  • Prior experience working as a Speech Pathologist (preferred)
  • Strong clinical skills in speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
