Lead Quality Specialist: Sugar Production

Job Description:

As a Lead Quality Specialist in the sugar production sector, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our manufacturing processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead a team of quality specialists to conduct audits, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements, and implement changes as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality metrics and reports, and provide insights to senior leadership.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as food technology or microbiology.
  • Demonstrated experience in a quality management role, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including HACCP and GMP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable recommendations.
