We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of the Infrastructure Services Division, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective upkeep of school facilities by developing and managing maintenance plans that prioritize safety, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee maintenance plans for school facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform short- and long-term maintenance strategies.
  • Incorporate safety protocols into all planning and execution activities.
  • Provide clear guidance and support to schools, senior management, and stakeholders.
  • Identify inefficiencies in maintenance processes and implement practical improvements.
  • Undertake regular travel as part of a week-on/week-off roster, while being based at Brisbane Central office.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance processes and asset management systems.
  • High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to balance competing priorities.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) to collaborate and provide guidance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other business systems.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly.
  • A valid Blue Card and the ability to meet criminal history check requirements.
