Key Responsibilities

The primary role of an Administration Officer is to provide high-level administrative support to the Regional Manager and contribute to the effective operation of Central Region Community Corrections.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences.
  • Proven administrative skills, including financial processing and database management.
  • Ability to apply and understand departmental policies and procedures.
  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills to ensure tasks are completed within required deadlines and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Ability to acquire knowledge of relevant acts and regulations.
  • Decision making and reasoning skills involving gathering information, evaluating solutions and selecting the best option.
  • Teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a broader team.
  • Information technology skills at a competent level with the willingness to learn new IT skills and use internal information management databases and Microsoft Office software.
