OOSH Centre Management Opportunity

The role of OOSH Centre Manager involves overseeing the daily operations of a busy Out of School Hours (OOSH) service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and engaging programs for students.

\

Main Responsibilities:

\
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the OOSH centre, including staffing, programming, budgeting and compliance\
  • Developing and implementing engaging recreational and educational activities for students\
  • Building strong relationships with parents, teachers and the school community\
  • Ensuring the service meets all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines\
  • Managing, supporting and developing a team of dedicated OOSH educators\
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting to the management
\

Requirements:

\
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field\
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar OOSH centre manager or coordinator role\
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering high-quality recreational programs for children\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families and the school community\
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement\
  • Sound knowledge of the education and childcare regulatory environment\
  • First Aid and CPR qualifications
