Job Title: OOSH Centre Director

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced centre director to lead our Out of School Hours (OOSH) service in Sydney.

This full-time position is responsible for the management and operations of our busy OOSH centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and engaging programs for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the centre, including staffing, programming, budgeting and compliance.

• Develop and implement engaging recreational and educational activities for students.

• Build strong relationships with parents, teachers and the school community.

• Ensure the service meets all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.

• Manage, support and develop a team of dedicated OOSH educators.

• Maintain accurate records and reporting to stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar centre manager or coordinator role.

• Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering high-quality recreational programs for children.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families and the school community.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Sound knowledge of the education and childcare regulatory environment.

• First Aid and CPR qualifications.
