About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced OOSH Centre Manager to join our team at Harbord Public School P&C in Freshwater, NSW. This full-time position is responsible for the management and operations of our busy Out of School Hours (OOSH) service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and engaging programs for our students.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the day-to-day running of the OOSH centre, including staffing, programming, budgeting and compliance

Developing and implementing engaging recreational and educational activities for students

Building strong relationships with parents, teachers and the school community

Ensuring the service meets all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines

Managing, supporting and developing a team of dedicated OOSH educators

Maintaining accurate records and reporting to the P&C committee

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar OOSH centre manager or coordinator role

Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering high-quality recreational programs for children

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families and the school community

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement

Sound knowledge of the education and childcare regulatory environment

First Aid and CPR qualifications
