Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the daily operations of our Out of School Hours (OOSH) service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Early Childhood Education, excellent communication skills and the ability to develop engaging programs for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the OOSH centre, including staffing, programming and compliance
  • Design and implement high-quality recreational and educational activities for children
  • Build strong relationships with parents, teachers and the school community
  • Ensure the service meets all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines
  • Support and develop a team of dedicated OOSH educators
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar OOSH centre manager or coordinator role
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering high-quality programs for children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Sound knowledge of the education and childcare regulatory environment
  • First Aid and CPR qualifications
