Job Title: Community Coordinator

The primary objective of a Community Coordinator is to facilitate transformation within child protection services by implementing a unique practice approach based on Cultural Therapeutic Ways.

This entails providing direction, encouragement and support to young people residing at the village. The Community Coordinator will actively engage with Aboriginal families with children and young people, aiding them in fostering a safe and healthy family environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Offer leadership and guidance to junior practitioners.
  • Implement the unique practice approach based on Cultural Therapeutic Ways.
  • Engage with Aboriginal families with children and young people, aiding them in fostering a safe and healthy family environment.

The role will have a significant workload reflective of the seniority of the position, capable of working with a higher case load and more complex cases.
