About this role
Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is a consortium of leading Tier 1 organisations – John Holland, Service Stream, and WSP. Sydney Water has partnered with D4C to deliver design, construction, maintenance, and facilities management services across their southern region.
We are seeking a Pre-Contracts Lead to join our dynamic team in an exciting time of growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping Sydney Water deliver a $34 billion dollar program over the next 10 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure new and profitable business by driving the Program proposals pipeline, customer relationship management, and tendering strategies.
- Lead the Pre-Contracts function to execute these strategies and protect and grow revenue by actively managing relationships with the Client.
- Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with the Client and industry partners.
- Identify current and future industry trends to develop and implement business strategies that successfully convert unsecured prospects into projects.
- Selectively analyse business opportunities for new work and determine the probability of securing a project.
- Undertake commercial reviews of prospects to ensure they are financially viable and meet margin expectations.
- Lead functional teams to secure projects through the EOI, Tender, and Post Tender phases.
Requirements
- 10+ years of sales/proposals or marketing experience in construction or a related field, with key clients.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Sciences, Project Management, or Construction Management.
- In-depth market and technical knowledge in a specialist sector (e.g. Utilities, Civil).
