Job Overview:

Craft precise estimates from master documentation, ensuring accurate pricing and efficient ordering processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless consistency between estimates, drawings, and construction methods, delivering top-tier accuracy.

Ongoing estimate and price file enhancements: Continuously improve and maintain both estimates and price files, ensuring they reflect the current and competitive data.

Streamline estimation processes: Develop tools and workflows to support the estimating team in delivering fast and precise results.

Manage data systems: Take ownership of data management, conducting regular reviews to keep things running smoothly.

Support sales teams with timely estimates: Provide sales estimating and pricing support to the sales teams, ensuring all quotes are accurate and delivered on time.

Project costing and analysis: Accurately price new projects, including residential builds, while conducting cost analysis on both new and existing designs.

Collaborate with construction teams: Stay informed about construction progress, handling any estimate changes and improvements.

Follow-up calls: Conduct follow-up calls as needed to ensure smooth project progression.

Maintain accurate records: Be mindful of project timelines and ensure that all job details are recorded correctly and up to date.

Reporting and documentation: Provide insightful reports and keep workflow documentation updated for transparency and efficiency.

Assist the estimating manager: Support the Estimating Manager with tasks and documentation as needed, ensuring smooth operations.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have a solid foundation of industry knowledge, at least 12 months in a residential building environment, and exceptional efficiency, even when juggling multiple priorities. A great sense of humor and ability to prioritize effectively and deliver time-critical outcomes amidst various distractions and competing demands are also essential.
