Residential Estimator Role

We are seeking an experienced residential estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately ordering materials for full residential builds, including post-contract and building variations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review plans, documentation, and variations to ensure precise material orders
  • Collaborate with suppliers, construction teams, and internal departments to resolve queries
  • Elevate discrepancies and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Maintain estimating systems and ensure alignment with business objectives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in residential whole-house estimating within a volume building environment
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology
  • Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications
  • Proficiency in estimating software and systems
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of building techniques, legal requirements, and quantitative analysis practices
