In this key role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of pantry inventory, collaborating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective solutions, and supervising a team of pantry staff. You will also be responsible for generating regular reports on inventory levels, usage patterns, and expenses.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong organizational and leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must have a current RSA competency card and outstanding presentation skills.

About the Role:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of pantry inventory, including food items, beverages, cleaning supplies, and other essentials.
  • Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to place orders, ensuring timely deliveries and cost-effective solutions.
  • Properly storing all pantry items, following health and safety regulations, and ensuring items are organized and labelled for easy access.
  • Regularly inspecting pantry goods to ensure they meet quality standards, discarding any expired or damaged items promptly.
  • Supervising and leading pantry staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Generating regular reports on inventory levels, usage patterns, and expenses.
  • Collaborating with chefs or kitchen staff to align pantry stock with menu.
