Public Policy Analyst for Sustainable Transport

RAC exists to drive meaningful change in Western Australia, fostering safer, sustainable, and connected communities. As a Senior Public Policy Advisor with RAC, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of transportation in WA.
The role involves analyzing complex topics related to reducing vehicle emissions, developing credible evidence to inform policy decisions, and working collaboratively with government, industry stakeholders, and community groups to achieve shared goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting research and preparing reports, papers, and submissions on topics such as clean vehicle technologies, air health, and environmental impacts
- Identifying trends and developments in the transport sector, assessing their implications for RAC's policy positions, and providing recommendations for action
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and community organizations
- Representing RAC at external committees and forums, presenting research findings, and engaging with technical and non-technical audiences

We offer a competitive salary range of AUD $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits that reflect our commitment to supporting the well-being and career development of our staff.
