The purpose of this role is to perform airfreight and related clerical duties safely, efficiently, and in accordance with policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Import related functions:
  2. Process customer collections
  3. ULD documentation processing
  4. Complete UCR
  5. Ensure security compliance
  6. Learn and use the Hermes system
  7. Process empty ULD returns
  8. Understand ABF & DAF regulations
  9. Make personal effect phone outs and relay for collection
  10. Process Interline Trucking requests and adhere to procedures
  11. Comply with Airline requirements
  12. Process Domestic cargo transfers
  13. Process Pharma shipments and document compliance
  1. Export related functions:
  2. Learn and understand security compliance – EACE
  3. Process export cargo deliveries
  4. Comply with Airline requirements and documentation
  5. ULD documentation processing
  6. Acknowledge acceptance of dangerous goods
  7. Acknowledge acceptance of Pharma shipments and document compliance
  8. Meet RACA Compliance
  9. Data capture of airwaybills in line with IATA regulations
  10. Comply with Hermes standards

For success at our organization, candidates must possess:

  • Current NSW Driver's License
  • Previous experience in an operational environment with SOPs
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High customer service skills
  • Understanding the importance of meeting Service Level Agreements
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
