About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Team Global Express. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of strategic accounts within the mining sector, with a focus on maximizing our profile, share of wallet, and customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement customer growth and sales strategies to drive business expansion and retention.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Drive sustainable growth by seeking expansion of current services and identifying new business development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales and revenue forecasts, ensuring timely reporting and progress.
  • Champion customer interests internally, identifying and developing innovative solutions to meet their needs.
  • Lead the pursuit of a seamless customer experience, engaging with internal stakeholders to remove barriers and challenges.
  • Oversee key strategic, financial, and operational reporting processes between Team Global Express and customers.
  • Develop a robust understanding of customers' financial performance and trends, including costs, pricing, and margins.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, initiatives, and innovations that impact our future growth planning.
Requirements
  • Extensive sales proposal and presentation skills, with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong relationship-building experience, with the ability to develop strategies to retain and grow a customer portfolio.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen, including customer and opportunity planning, and revenue forecasting.
  • Contract negotiation skills, with knowledge of key and strategic market segments.
  • Sales discipline knowledge, including sales techniques, aligning sales strategy to buyer behavior, account planning, and portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of solutions, products, services, new and possible technology offerings, industry players, and latest developments in digital ecommerce.
  • High-level interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
