Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manager - Strategy and Development to lead the development of long-term growth strategies to maximize the potential of our Dugald River asset. This role will be accountable for coordinating and supporting the delivery of short-term site initiatives and strategies to drive continuous business improvement across all areas of the operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement growth and innovation strategies and work programs to maximize the potential of the Dugald River asset.
  • Collaborate with the Dugald River leadership team, Australian Operations support function managers, and group functions to establish operational objectives, tactical plans, and improvement initiatives.
  • Determine department objectives, formalize and cascade plans, and manage performance against plans.
  • Oversee the management of Mine Technical support (Geological and Mine Engineering Technical Services), site-based IT support, and business improvement functions.
  • Lead operational and generational transformation of Dugald River technical and support operations through investigating and optimizing ways of work, including technology, flexibility, and resource planning.
  • Accountable for the management and quality of the weekly and monthly reporting requirements while continuously developing site data reporting systems.
  • Provide site leadership as an alternate site senior executive, as required.
