We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dairy Cattle Stockperson to join our client's dairy production team in Roger River, TAS 7330.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and coordinate all aspects of milk production, including milking shed routines and reproductive programs.
- Implement calving procedures and manage pastures and crops for livestock production.
- Supervise animal health programs and maintain an optimal environment for the wellbeing of livestock.
- Operate milking plant and equipment, and perform maintenance works on sheds, fixtures and fittings.
- Transport stock, feed and equipment, and maintain records for stock and inventory control.
- AQF Certificate III in Agriculture / Dairy Production (or higher equivalent)
- Three (3) years of recent and relevant work experience
- Computer literate and able to operate software packages
- Full-time, permanent position
- Salary: From $65,835 per year (plus superannuation)
