Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert medical care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Lead a team of medical professionals, including junior doctors and nurses, to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and department efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments and services to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our Emergency Department.
- Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Emergency Medicine, including leadership and management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
