Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance professional to join our Regional Maintenance Team South and West.

  • Work in the Regional Maintenance Team South and West, delivering maintenance activities for stations, maintenance depots and multi-storey carparks.
  • Be allocated work for each day at Dapto depot with a job list for the day/week to complete tasks in the field based on priority for relevant locations.
  • Monitor the work completed by contractors ensuring efficient delivery and agreed timelines/costs.
  • Operate under minimal supervision with demonstrated experience in building maintenance/construction providing handyman repairs.
  • Possess trade qualifications in a relevant trade such as Carpentry, Plumbing, Painting or as a Bricklayer.
  • Recognised as having good interpersonal/written communication skills and a valid current driver licence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver maintenance activities for stations/maintenance depots and multi-storey carparks.
  • Allocate and manage workload daily/weekly ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Monitor contractor work performance ensuring timely/delivered results.
  • Ensure safe working practices across all sites.
  • Maintain high standards of work quality and presentation.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in building maintenance/construction.
  • Trade qualifications in Carpentry, Plumbing, Painting or Bricklaying.
  • Good interpersonal/written communication skills.
  • Valid current driver licence.
