Job Title: Asset and Facilities Support Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Fleet Services Team as an Asset and Facilities Support Officer. This is a full-time temporary position, offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the community.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service for all fleet-related enquiries
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks to support the fleet team
  • Fleet Management: Manage and coordinate pool and Executive fleet asset replacement schedules
  • Total Loss Claims: Handle total loss insurance claims
  • Correspondence: Organise and respond to internal and external correspondence, including managing the Fleet inbox and Service Desk
  • Equipment Orders: Process equipment orders and oversee communication and change management activities for the delivery of new assets and the collection of assets being retired from service
About You:
  • Be organised, proactive and accountable with the ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Be highly motivated with excellent organisational skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
  • Understand program and project management methodologies and best practice
  • Have knowledge of government procurement and supply policies and practices
  • Demonstrate ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
