Job Opportunity

Seeking an accomplished Project Manager with extensive experience in leading industrial projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

About the Role:

The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project delivery, including programme management, risk identification, and contract administration. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, meeting stakeholder expectations, and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project programmes, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Manage construction programmes, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards
  • Identify and mitigate construction risks, escalating issues as necessary
  • Manage project expenditure, cash flow, and financial reporting
  • Provide accurate monthly rolling final account forecasts
  • Oversight of external engineering design aspects of projects
  • Price, submit, and negotiate variation claims
  • Full responsibility for contracts administration
  • Design management
  • Ensure project sustainability objectives are met from commencement to completion
  • Manage OH&S on the project
  • Deliver and manage client expectations
  • Deliver on project quality to programme

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or similar discipline
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in delivering projects from start to finish, ideally from a Tier 1 or 2 background
  • Proven leadership ability, with experience in building and motivating high-performing teams
  • Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements/standards
  • Strong project financial reporting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Construction Safety Induction (white) card
