About the Role

The Department of Home Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Integrated Logistics Support Officer to join our team in the Cape Class Patrol Boats In-Service Support Section.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) strategies and plans to ensure the operational readiness of the ABF Fleet.
  • Conduct ILS analysis, including failure reporting, analysis, and corrective action system (FRACAS) and data collection and analysis (DCACAS).
  • Provide detailed, accurate, and timely briefings to the Minister, ABF Senior Executive, and other senior reporting requirements as required.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in management of Integrated Logistic Support.
  • Sound understanding, critical analysis, and reasoning skills in identifying and addressing complex and/or sensitive issues.
  • Experience in and understanding of the Capability Life Cycle and developing, managing, and completing ILS documentation, instructions, plans, and systems analysis.
