Job Title: Community Outreach Professional Job Description:

The role of the Community Outreach Professional is to establish and maintain relationships with local employers, job seekers, and referral partners. Key responsibilities include guiding customers through service access, identifying employment opportunities, and developing tailored employment services that lead to real outcomes.

This involves expanding community and employer networks to increase referrals and support diversity initiatives. The professional will also broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.

Additionally, this position requires developing and managing strategic employer and industry partnerships, promoting Breakthru as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.

Analysis of labour market trends informs strategy and identifies growth opportunities.

Finally, the local leadership team is supported by coaching teams to strengthen employer engagement and improve client career outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in employment services, recruitment, or community engagement.
  • Strong local networks and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and adaptability across diverse audiences.
  • Solid admin skills and familiarity with CRM/ESS systems.
  • Passion for inclusion and empowering others through employment.
